Your Privacy
Your privacy is a top priority to me, and is assured by the law & ethics of my profession. I don't share information about who I see or what is discussed.
Confidentiality
All interactions with mental health professionals are private and confidential and will not be released without your written permission. You have the right to review your own records. For the vast majority of clients, no exceptions to confidentiality are made. However, the law requires therapists to make exceptions in certain circumstances such as reporting child abuse, or protecting human life.
Fees
My fee is $160 for an initial session and $120 thereafter per 50 minute session, whether the session is in person or by telephone. Couples therapy is $150. Longer or shorter sessions are prorated from these basic fees. There is no charge for occasional brief telephone or email contacts.
Insurance
I accept Medicare and Blue Cross Blue Shield. For plans for which I am out-of-network, I will provide the necessary information for you to file your own claim for reimbursement. If you have a Flexible Spending Account or Health Savings Account, you can use it for psychotherapy expenses.
